What’s in Store for the Next Generation Wii?

The Nintendo Wii has successfully conquered the gaming console market. Its sales number is still on the rise after two years of release. Gamers are already speculating on what Nintendo have in its drawing board. Will there be a Wii 2 in the near future?
Talks about Wii 2 began when Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed that his company is working on the next generation hardware. There was no mention of specs or features that they’re working on. Would it be a graphics upgrade or do they some innovative ideas in the works that would change how we play our games?
I’ve already talk about mind control being used in games, is Nintendo going towards this path? Though it would be cool way to control a game but I don’t think the masses are ready for this. Yes, it would be innovative but people are just starting to enjoy playing with the Wii remote, putting up with a new way of playing games so soon could turn most people off.
A more rational upgrade to the current Wii would be more processing and graphics power to put it at par with the Xbox 360. Plus, it wouldn’t hurt if the Wii can have a little more storage memory as well. The Wii 2 would definitely continue the original Wii’s successful reign to the throne with these improvements.
What innovations or upgrades would you want to see in Wii 2?
