SimCity Creator Coming soon to the Wii and DS

SimCity CreatorSimCity fans with Nintendo Wii or DS will have something to look to look forward to. Electronic Arts is set to launch SimCity Creator exclusively for the two Nintendo console. The Wii and the DS version will have features unique from the other.

In the Wii version, players can choose either from a European or Asian style for their city. The Wii Remote will be the only peripheral needed to play SimCity Creator. Just as the previous SimCity versions, players can set the zones and construct their own metropolis. For the first time in the series though, you can lay roads and pipes in curves instead of the grid-like systems of the past. Now you can truly design a piping system that you can truly say your own.

You can also place “hero” buildings to make your city distinctive from the other towns around. Hero buildings are based from modern day design, some are historical and some from fantasy.

As for SimCity Creator for the Nintendo DS, your metropolis will evolve through time. You start from the Stone Age and will go through the middle ages, modern times, present day, and the future. There will be four modes available: Challenge, Free Play, Chance Encounter and Gallery.

SimCity Creator is something to look forward for. I don’t know about the Wii version but I got to play the Japanese version for the DS and I enjoyed it a lot. Both versions are to be released on September this year.

Do you think this would be something to look forward for?
