Rock Band Downloadable Content Comes to the Wii
Harmonix has announced that downloadable content will be available for the Wii version of Rock Band. Well sort of…
The downloadable content will not be in downloadable form but instead it will come in disc that contains songs previously released as downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.
This settles the issue of Rock Band for Wii not having any downloadable content. Fans of the game will be thrilled with this development as this means more music to be played on top of the 63 songs already packed into the game itself.
Rock Band for Wii is set to be released next month. I hope they offer a boxed set which includes the game disc and the supplementary disc in a discounted price. That would be a great deal for gamers.
If only Nintendo gave in to Harmonix’s suggestion of a separate hard drive, everybody would be happy and an additional disc would not have been needed. Good thing Harmonix found a way to give fans what they wanted.
