Why should we care?

Normally a gaming headline that wouldn’t catch the attention of any Nintendo gamer, Bungie, famed developer of the Halo trilogy, has now split from Microsoft and is now once again an independent studio. So what does this mean? Take a look for yourself… HALO DS.

Of course, this is all just speculation, after all Microsoft probably owns the license for the Halo franchise, and such a game would never be released for a competing system. But just think of the possibilities, wireless multiplayer? Touch screen aiming? Halo and Metroid on one system? And how about Samus Aran vs the Masterchief in one game?! I’m getting ahead of myself. Samus would just kick the Masterchief’s ass anyway.

Halo for the Wii with Motion controls wouldn’t be so bad either.
