Guitar Hero: DS version, On Tour this Summer
It’s been more than a year since Activision announced a Guitar Hero for the Nintendo DS. The long wait is almost over. Activision is targeting a summer release date for Guitar Hero: On Tour for the Nintendo DS. Everyone was speculating on how Guitar Hero will be played the Nintendo DS. How would the peripheral look like? Will there stylus be used for strumming? What songs will be in its track list?
Wonder no more. Activision released some photos of the Guitar Hero Guitar Grip that will be used for the Nintendo DS. And like the early speculations, you won’t be using your stylus. Instead you will be provided with a pick-stylus for strumming. Behold…

“The Guitar Hero Guitar Grip redefines how games can be played on handheld systems and the integration of the microphone and touch screen gameplay on the DS, further illustrates Guitar Hero’s leadership in delivering the most unique and creative quality hardware and software on the market,” said Dusty Welch, head of publishing for Activision/RedOctane.
This is what I want. Now I can bring my Guitar Hero wherever I go. From the looks of things, Guitar Hero: On Tour will be worth the wait.
The track list promises to be a good mix of tunes from OK Go to my favorite, Nirvana. I will update you as soon as Activision releases the lists of bands and songs featured in the game.
