Buggy Tomb Raider Underworld for the Wii

Nintendo gamers are expecting something big fro, Tomb Raider Underworld. It is the first game of the franchise to be released for the Wii. Everyone’s excited of how they could control the game using the Wii remote. However, the game was a letdown and here’s why.

A glitch has been found for the Wii version of Tomb Raider Underworld. Once you reach the Thailand level of the game, you need to find a lever to advance to the next stage. Some gamers find it hard to find that particular lever. Turns out, it’s not there to begin with.

Eidos has this to say about the bug:

“We are aware of a bug which is present in the Nintendo Wii version of Tomb Raider: Underworld. We would like to stress that this is an extremely infrequent bug, however on the rare occasion that it occurs; it affects the presence of a lever in the Thailand level of the game and prevents progress beyond this level. Eidos sincerely apologies to anyone who has experienced this frustrating problem.”

Tomb Raider Underworld is a great game but bugs like this could lessen your gaming experience. Hopefully Eidos fix this soon. Until then I would not be buying it for the Wii. Maybe I should try the DS version instead.
