The WiiTop

The Nintendo Wii has gone portable. Though not officially but this Wii mod looks good and it works. This mod is made by Ben Heckendorn. It is just one of his many mods. Check out his site for more of his works.
The Wii laptop mod features a 16:9 widescreen LCD, 7-inch diagonal, stereo sound, Gamecube controller port, built-in short range Sensor Bar, ports for using original Sensor Bar and A/V output jacks (for use on external display), and a built-in power supply and compartment for power cord.
Though not really portable because it has no built-in batteries, it is still a wonderful mod. This would be great for those who live in cramped spaces but I still think that the bigger the monitor, the better your Wii experience. Well, that’s just me.

Wow thats great!
ugly… and anyone who has money to throw around on a console these days (even the cheapest one) probably already has a decent sized television and enough space. no battery pack, no point.
Oh… another gimmick. How interesting.
Niice I wish I had the money to get myself one of these
Freaking Ben Heck– making every other gamer look like a slacker for not having portable versions of every console.
nice, but lets see it in action

Surely you would have to keep some distance from the laptop, causing you not being able to see the screen well, rendering this mod pretty useless? Nether the less, it is still a pretty sweet mod and Ben has out done himself once again.
why don’t you have the screen open up the other way (so that it doesn’t look so much like a laptop), pretend the screen is up when “closed” and you should get what I mean. The hinges would be on the opposite side from where they are now.
great mod tho!
lol, Theyre not IR led sensors, their IR led lights or emitters, they just shine IR light.
I love the faux cel-shadedness.
beautiful mod… but what is it witg those tiny electrichal cords? Are you guys on that 110 volt model train system?
