WWW: Jetix Games Makes Babysitting Easier
Summer is for kids. I’m babysitting my nephew and niece for my cousin again. While I enjoy their company, kids can be irritating sometimes, especially if you got a deadline coming up. Then there’s only one thing that can be done, give them some sort of distraction.
So I turned on the TV and gave them my Nintendo DS. Then everything became calm once again. So it’s time for me to write an article… but about what?
Then my nephew, the one playing the DS, came to me and asked if I got any other DS game. I said it’s all there in the bag. He then asked me if I got any Jetix games. What the hell are Jetix games?
My nephew then began to explain to me that Jetix is a cartoon channel. So Jetix games are games based on those cartoons.
To know more about Jetix cartoons, I got up from my chair and went to the couch to watch TV. Well I’m just in time for Pucca. I can’t recall any Pucca game for the DS. Then I glanced at my workstation and saw my niece playing an online Pucca racing game.
Then next is Chaotic. This cartoon targets the boys. I saw some Chaotic gaming cards while I was at the mall. So I think a Yu-Gi-Oh type of game is in the drawing board.
After Chaotic came Captain Flamingo. There’s a Captain Flamingo that can be downloaded for free. It is an action-puzzle flash game with four separate missions. I don’t have any news of it being ported or developed for the Nintendo DS.
I’m seeing a pattern here. Most Jetix shows don’t have DS games based on them. Developers seem to be missing out on this demographic. Good thing there’s a Jetix game site that offers free games online. So while I’m watching TV, my niece and nephew took over my computer.
Which Jetix game would you like to have to see on the DS?
