Giant NES Controller Project
When was the last time you had a bright idea and wished you did it? Well Kyle Downes of Ultra Awesome ran out of storage space in his room. At the beginning there was clutter. A true gamer, his floor is littered with consoles, game carts and boxes.
His solution: Build a coffee table slash gigantic NES controller to store his stuff. The NES controller has been a project of many mod but what sets this mod from the rest is that it is immaculately built that you might think a professional carpenter made it.

The creator, Kyle Downes stated:
Take note that I have literally zero woodwork experience (my school never even had woodwork classes), besides the asteroids cabinet I made. However I did get a lot of advice from my dad and uncle about how I should do stuff (like chiseling out the surface so the hinges sit flush etc.)
Yet his end product is perfect. He even got the bevels correct. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, it is fully functional. Here’s a video of the control in action.
