An old school Sega gamer’s wish

Sega Systems to Live again in the Wii’s Virtual Console?
There’s no question that the Wii would have little difficulty emulating the Saturn and running games from its excellent library of titles. The Sega Saturn was once the original PlayStation’s only rival. Nintendo’s N64 arrived years after the other systems, with no real hope of catching Sony’s early lead.
It hosted a number of excellent titles from (at the time) the brilliant Sega development teams. Games like Nights, Dragon Force, Panzer Dragoon, Sega Rally, and Virtua Fighter 2 all looked and played great, rivaling, and in many cases, surpassing their equivalents in Sony’s vast library of game titles.
Lost and not found
Unlike the great games on Sony’s system, copies of the once notable titles on the Saturn’s library are hard to find - many costing hundreds of dollars more than what they originally sold for.
That, and with some of the games requiring the use of specialized cartridges to work, and finding those cartridges being nearly impossible, Nintendo would do a lot of Sega fan’s all over the world a favor by bringing a Sega Saturn emulator to the Wii, and offering its games for download, just as it does now with the N64.
Who knows? Stranger things have happened, maybe there’s hope after all.
