It started when my mom gave me a SNES console. Since then I’ve been a Mario fan. I’ve played every Mario game there is.

But this guy is something else. He’s on a league of his own. Check out his collection.

Combat Construction: Archineers’ Time to Shine

combat constructionThere’s a new hero in town and he’s an Archineer! Lock the protagonist of Construction Combat is part Architect, part Engineer. He needs to defend the Sacred Artifacts against invading robots by building structures around it.

Construction Combat: Lock’s Quest is being developed by 5th Cell, the makers of the top selling Drawn to Life. It will be published by THQ.

I would consider myself an Archineer in my other life, so getting immersed with the designing and the building part will surely be enjoyable. Lock the hero designs and creates defense towers in the battle field using different materials such as stone, metal or wood.

The Nintendo DS needs more titles like this than the usual brain and movie/product tied up games. Not that I don’t like games from those genres, I do enjoy some of them but most games to get monotonous.

Construction Combat combines action adventure and real time simulation that promises to be appealing for hardcore and casual gamers alike. This fast paced game of building and battling will definitely be worth a look when it becomes available this Fall.
